Worship in Living Color Workbook

     In 1994 I began my Worship quest for pleasing the Father's Heart. I desired to express my love and gratefulness in whatever way I could. I had come back to the Lord in 1981 after a long period of trying to do life my own way and failing miserably. I had told the Lord that I would be "His woman no matter what that meant," but that the only way I would be able to do that was being exactly who I was at any given moment.

      I was weary of the failures in my life, and I was intolerant of the people in my past who claimed to know the Lord, but didn't live it. What I was truly seeking was that unconditional love that only a perfect Father was able to give. In His faithfulness He showed Himself to me and I found that love and have had a grateful childlike heart since.

      My approval rating is rooted and grounded in His Heart. His is the only voice that I need telling me how I'm doing, what to do next, and guiding me through this life through the good, bad and ugly times. This heart of obedience opened a path of worship that exploded into a unique blend of gifts that I know God created in me before I was born.

      When I am asked by others, as we often are, "What do you do?" I have come to the explanation of the various ways I worship and interact with the Lord as, "I am a Prophetic Worship Warrior." My goal is to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. My spirit worships Him in the truth and reality of the very moment I am in. Hearing and obeying the voice of God through voicing or creating that worship visually. Outward proof of adoration acted upon, and either ministering to Him or to others. As I accomplish that, others around me are affected by whatever mode of worship that I'm expressing. I am known to say, that I love to worship in so many different ways, but that the way it comes out the most beautifully is when it is in the colorful vivid banners of truth or the free-flowing flags that move in the wind of the Spirit visually expressing music. The banners I have created whether alone or with many in workshops, all come from prophetic unction, from spiritual insight or scriptural pictures and words, and taking the detailed meanings of colors and cloth, all to bring Glory and Honor to the One who created me.

      My desire is that I multiply that longing to worship in all those who know and see me. I freely, without fear of man, express how much I love Him, my all in all. Years ago, when I was still fearful of others, He gently asked me one time, (although repeated this many times since then), "What is it that you would do right now if it was only you and me here?" So many times I could see His eyes, gentle and kind, longing for my spontaneous, uninhibited dance of joy to make His Heart smile and beat faster with love.

      If I can encourage, and yes, even compel others by what I do and say, I can hear Him say, "Well done this day, daughter of my heart." To know Him and the incredible power of His Love flowing into and through us is a life fulfilled, a calling satisfied, and the greatest gift of life and love that we can give back to Him.

      May you the reader find some truths to follow as you share in the words expressed in this book, may they be meat to your spirit, and light and life to your soul. I pray that you find more of God as you read and activate the gifting within you. May your life be forever changed as you travel your own journey of seeking how God enjoys your own unique expressions of love in worship.
